      eBay no longer honors the buyer guarantee

      I’m coming to the forum to warn users: eBay does not even comply with the buyer guarantee. Since this month, with two orders, it has been putting obstacles in the way of returns. First, by making me waste time on an item the seller supposedly sent wrong, a streetlight whose value is insignificant compared with what they were supposed to send; apparently they didn’t like that the bid wasn’t high. Then another seller who did not move at all. eBay used Paack for these two items, with false delivery attempts: the local carrier (Paack) falsely recorded "Customer absent" on December 15 and 16 while I was waiting for the package at my home.   Contradictory information on the 17th: after contacting Paack support to resolve the previous failures, I was assured by chat that the package would be delivered on the 17th between 10:00 and 23:00. This delivery never happened, showing total negligence on the part of the carrier.   Return to sender without cause: despite having confirmed my correct details in León, the system marked the item as "Being returned to your seller," making it impossible to receive it.   Corporate complaint about the carrier: I want to inform eBay that this kind of issue with Paack is systematic and seriously damages buyer trust, first their support agents, whom I’m not going to name, but who don’t even have support in Spanish and use a translator, second because of their incompetence and denial in the face of the evidence to resolve the issue. I also have screenshots of the entire incident and dates.     I have not only taken legal action to get my refund, but I will also file a complaint with consumer affairs. eBay wants to keep the package and the item; they close my case and ignore the facts.   Knowing that eBay is no longer trustworthy and does not look out for the consumer, only for its own wallet; in all these years on the platform I have never seen such disrespectful behavior. They have been ignoring the problem all month and it is already causing me emotional stress and psychological harm. It is not just the money, it’s the treatment.   I’m going to think twice before buying on eBay, which will be very little from now on once I finish a few pending items. Remember not to use eBay’s global shipping because if they use a lousy logistics setup because it’s cheaper for them or because they’re overloaded and fail in the last mile, you won’t see either your money or your item.   On top of that, to make matters worse, one of the times I called, one of the customer service agents was snoring. Yes, as you hear it, he was asleep at work. I called several times and you could hear snoring until he woke up.   So that’s the professionalism eBay has right now: it does not protect the buyer, it does not work in an orderly and efficient way, fees keep going up and there are fewer and fewer items. No wonder users are leaving for other platforms.   Regards.

      Duplicate charge failure

      They charged me the full amount of the basket 1146.17 and the next day they charged me the same thing again, separately, each item separately, and I don't know where to complain. Thanks

      Fraudulent bids and buyers are proliferating

      Every time, actual selling on Ebay is becoming an odyssey. We spend money creating the listing and out of nowhere a bunch of supposed buyers show up whose only intention is to mess with the bids, and if they end up winning, they hide behind Ebay's free cancellation policy for nonsensical reasons. A very common example: Bid sent by mistake. And this one is a good one since that buyer places up to 6 bids within a 5-minute interval. In the end they win the auction and then automatically request cancellation. Even though when placing the bid they receive a notification from Ebay informing them that they are committed to paying if the bid wins. This Ebay policy has opened the door to chaos and there is no longer any guarantee of sales. A real shame

      Hi, good morning. I don't want to be a pain, but these days I came across an app called Sherpa that's for collaborative deliveries and I thought it was a very good idea. I love those guys' entrepreneurial spirit, and although I see a few things that could be improved in their model, I think they're developing something really cool. I'm just leaving it here because it's an app that has solved a lot of problems for me, and I think the guys deserve for me to spread the word about what they've done...       Order different from the description

      A few days ago I bought a product for a bmx won in an auction, and to my surprise, besides one of them arriving by paack and losing the first item, they also deliver this one to me too. Well, after insisting that they deliver it to me, they finally knock on the door. I go all happy and I find a streetlight, I feel ripped off.   I call eBay and one of the times I hear snoring and I’m not kidding, snoring???? When it isn’t being answered, do the operators fall asleep ?? This is unbelievable...   In the end they answer me on the phone, they tell me to return the package, something like printing the labels comes out of my own pocket. Even though shipping is free.    Plus I have to wait for it to arrive at eBay’s shipping hub, wait for them to inspect the item, and another 6 days for the refund.   I also have to wait until the 29th for the other item that paack has held up and for them to give me a resolution, resolution of what ? I ask....   To begin with, it’s not my fault that eBay uses disastrous companies with global shipping,  the two items are almost €1000 and I have to wait an eternity.   eBay gets worse every day,  looks like I’m not going to order more than one item until it arrives..     Honestly, between feeling ripped off by the seller, customer service, and having problems with deliveries, I’m losing the desire to buy.

      Irresponsible seller

      I bought  24 units of Poligrip paste and the seller only sent  6  units  in a fragile, very small paper bag. I contacted him and all he does is disrespect me  and make fun of me.  The package was sent to Miami and then a Courier sends it  to me in the Dominican Republic and I refuse to receive the package that the Courier wants to deliver to me because it is incomplete. I file a complaint with eBay and they only tell me that the package was  delivered and my complaint does not go through. As for me, I am not going to receive the  incomplete package from the Courier. Could you advise me what to do, since this purchase cost me 112 dollars.
