Item return

Hi,

 

About 2 months ago, I bought an item and then asked for return of the item because it didn't work as promised. The seller convinced me that it would work with a new cable and that they could arrange it for me to receive it soon after. The cable never arrived and when I decided it was better to return the product, the return period had already expired. Now I can't return it via eBay because the period has expired, although the seller told me via direct message that they would accept a return if eBay reopens the case.

 

I just don't know how to reopen the return.

 

Can anybody help me on this? I would greatly appreciate that.
